You have to edit a file to make the changes take effect, but it allows you to build armies up to 40 units instead of 20. I would also suggest the 40 units submod that comes with ETWII files. No problem brother! It's def my favorite Total War as well and the ETWII mod makes it much better in a lot of ways. havnt played empire in probably half a decade now but its always been my favorite total war. There is also a patch you can download on the same page that fixes a lot of the bugs in the mod.Īhh perfect. Once you're in the discord, got to the #beta-downloads and find the one with the google link. Originally posted by Aged Cheese:You gotta get the download through their discord. Selection of curated and compatible submodsĬombat feels just right to me (but that is subjective) Nowhere near the level of modification of some overhauls No but thanks to it you can play as america or native americans etc etc small nations in a world campaign so you can. no it does not add new nations, the huge overhaul mods do but its not anything special. Plenty of options, settings, customization to your play style. Well, except overhauls, but those might not exactly count as ETW. Which is where I ask you, if these loose pieces are what causing Darthmod to not work (trust me, I redownload and reinstalled Dartmod multiple times and it seems to be having the exact same problems no matter how many times I reinstall it) how do I find and delete any loose pieces of Darthmod that is floating around in my computer and what do these files look like (no it isn't the DME user script and preference scpirt, I already tried installing Darthmod with those deleted, but its still having the same issues).Originally posted by Garmo:Whats the pros n cons of each These pieces of data are probably parts of Darthmod that weren't properly uninstalled when I tried to reinstall the mod one other time for a different reason. But of course, these files are parts of Darthmod that are floating around in my computer somewhere. So the reason why I think Darthmod is "skipping" installation steps is that the mod believes that parts of Darthmod already exist, and won't install the same files twice. Now, based on what I have learned, I think the reason why this is happening is that I believe that when you install the mod, the installer is designed to only install data that doesn't exist in your computer (this might be the case because when I cancelled installing Darthmod at one point, the installation process didn't start over, but itstead continued from where it left off when I started the installation process again). IF YOU ARE HAVING ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE INSTALL, PLEASE READ MY PINNED COMMENT, IT WILL COVER EVERYTHINGHelloI made a step by step guide on how to install b. The Darthmod set up notes say that some of the installation files were "skipped" while the I was installing the mod, meaning that for some reason the mod didn't install everything that it was suppose and only installed enough that I ended up with a mask of what Darthmod is suppose to be. The reason why I think this is happening is because when I installed Darthmod 8.0.1 it didn't seem to install all the files and data in the process. What I mean is that while some of the changes from Darthmod seem to work (like the different main menu and a few other changes to the gameplay), a lot of important features, (like the improved AI and graphics) don't seem to work at all. The problems I seem to be having with Darthmod is that while it functions, not all the feature and changes to Empire seem to be working. ![]() I created a "Part 2" because I wanted to get more help on this problem, but I also think I narrowed it down to to one potential cause of why the mod isn't working properly. This is forum is a part of a previous discussion I made on trying to fix Empire Darthmod version 8.0.1 for my computer. ![]()
